Why farmerbrown?



farmerbrown is about supporting local and African-American farmers, using organic, biodynamic, and/or sustainably raised foods, and beverages whenever possible. Chef-owner Jay Foster (formerly of Emmy's Spaghetti Shack and BlueJay Cafe) is the creative force behind farmerbrown's unique take on soul food. Along with supporting partner, Deanna Sison, farmerbrown's philosophy revolves around providing the freshest possible organic ingredients for their wholesome southern American classics.

This marriage of farm fresh southern cuisine with local Bay Area ingredients in a down home soulful atmosphere gives farmerbrown its unique vibe. From the entrees to the cocktails to the interior design--everything is lovingly hand-made by the staff.



SUNDAY GOSPEL BRUNCH

farmerbrown is hosting San Francisco's first-ever, youth run, gospel brunch in collaboration with the non-profit "old skool cafe" EVERY sunday. enjoy an all-u-can-eat delicious brunch buffet(scrambles, stone ground grits, bacon, fried chicken, sweet potatoe pie, and so much more) with live entertainment. 10am-3pm $25

LATE NITE FRIED CHICKEN AND A PINT $15
