Why farmerbrown?



farmerbrown is about supporting local and african-american farmers, using organic, biodynamic, and/or sustainably raised foods, and beverages whenever possible. our focus is southern food, a gift that is often mis-represented. we love our food and want you to love it, too. please let us know what you think @ info@farmerbrownsf.com

chef-owner jay foster (formerly of emmy's spaghetti shack and bluejay cafe) is the creative force behind farmerbrown's unique take on soul food. partner, deanna sison, a former cooking show producer, completes the team, bringing with her years of experience in the hospitality industry and a passion for food. farmerbrown's philosophy revolves around providing the freshest possible organic ingredients for their wholesome southern american classics, presented lovingly to their local communities.

this marriage of farm fresh southern cuisine with local bay area ingredients in a down home soulful atmosphere gives farmerbrown its unique vibe. from the entrees to the cocktails to the interior design--everything is hand-made and carefully crafted by the staff.

 We are bringing back out 5 & dime menu for our happy hour. This will include bar bites ranging from $5-$10 (BAR ONLY). Every Tuesday- Friday 5pm-7pm

Weekend All-You-Can-Eat Brunch Buffet $21.95
Is it possible for the best to get even better? We're improving our game with a new line-up of great brunch offerings. New items, such as waffles, Fried Catfish and other sesonal dishes, will play along with our star players (Fried Chicken, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon & Fresh Fruit). Don't forget to wash it all down, with the bottomless mimosa!

 Every Tuesday join us for the best of both worlds the sweet and the savory. Two waffles and our famous fried chicken $16.
